Sex primes influence on new romantic relationships

Does thinking about sex influence how new romantic relationships develop? Researchers interested in this question conducted several studies and found some interesting answers. One study showed when people were primed with a sexual stimuli compared to a neutral one they were more likely to reveal personal information to the opposite sex. What this suggests is that sexual priming, or thinking about sex can lend a hand (or pair of lips) in helping people get to know each other and perhaps increasing the likelihood of future encounters.
